Practical informations Ecole de Ski Internationale
- Our team consists of 35 professional and state qualified ski instructors and high mountain guides who can all teach in french and other languages.
- We are based in the heart of Arc 1800 right by the chair lifts.
- We have a snow kindergarten in the centre of village Charmettoger.
- Skiing whit us will entitle you to priority in the ski lift queues throughout Paradiski.
( Les Arcs/Peisey-Vallandry/Villaroger/ La Plagne)
- There are 8-12 (max) people in our groups.
- Achievement awards and medals come free with all ski lessons for children and all snowboard lessons.

I have never put on skis, I’m a complete beginner. |
| CRISTAL |
I have passed the « cristal » and can do some snow plough turns in succession on a blue slope. |
| BRONZE CRISTAL |
I have passed the « cristal » and can do some snow plough turns in succession on a blue slope. |
| SILVER CRISTAL |
I have passed the « bronze cristal » and can do elementary turns in succession on a blue slope |
| VERMEIL CRISTAL |
I have passed the « silver cristal » and can do parallel turns in succession on blue and red slopes. |
| GOLD CRISTAL |
I have passed the « vermeil cristal » and can do both small and large parallel turns in succession on a red slope. I know how to side slip. |
| DIAMOND CRISTAL |
I have passed the « gold cristal » and can do both wedeln and large parallel turns in succession on a red slope with a steady speed. |
| COMPETITION |
I have passed the « diamond cristal » and can link turns in all types of snow and terrain. |

| BEGINNER- MINIRIDER |
I have never tried the boarding and I wish to pass the Minirider. |
| BRONZE RIDER |
I have passed the Minirider. I can take the chairlift, slide on one foot on the flat, traverse in side slipping frontside/backside, control my speed and turn frontside/backside on a blue slope. |
| SILVER RIDER |
I have passed the « bronze rider ». I can traverse with minimal side slipping, mastered the sie slipping turn frontside/backside, vary the speed and alternate short/wide turns, do the first basic tricks, tried freestyle and powder. |
| VERMEIL RIDER |
I have passed the « silver rider ». I can do basic turns of varying lengths, advancein Fakie on green slope, do flat 360° in the fall line and 180° in the traverse front and back. I can do basic ollies and have tried out the snowpark. |
| GOLD RIDER |
I have passed the « vermeil rider ». I can traverse without side slipping, mastered the gliding turnFront/backside, Fakie turns of varied lengths, have started to experiment in the snowpark, advance in powder, exploit the terrain and assure straight running. |
| FREERIDE - FREESTYLE |
I have passed the « gold rider ». I can do carved turns, master the snowpark elements and ride in all snow conditions. |
