Ski season opening dates:The Ecole de Ski Internationale-ARC AVENTURES is open from 15/12/18 to 27/04/19.
High and low seasons:Listed below are the busiest periods (high season) and least busy periods (low season) of the winter.
High season: 22nd December 2018 to 6th January 2019 // 9th February to 10th March 2019 // 6th to 27th April 2019
Low season: 15th au 21st December 2018 // 7th January to 8th February 2019 // 11th March to 5th April 2019.
We strongly recommended booking lessons in advance.
Participation:Participation in our activities requires an adequate level of health and fitness (for any exceptions please contact us) and the appropriate winter sport equipment. Participants must respect all instructions given by the instructors.
Minimum requirement: For ski and snowboard group lessons (for adults or children), the All Mountain and the Free Ride courses there must be a minimum of 4 participants per sport and per level.
Management:Our ski instructors are highly qualified professionals (some are in training for their state qualification) all participation is dependent on the mental and physical abilities of participants.
Safety:All the activities depend on weather and snow conditions as well as the skills and aptitude of each participant. Radio contact is maintained at all times between the ski instructors and the main ESI Office.
Weather conditions:Inclement weather is not a valid reason for cancelling reservations. Cancellations will not be accepted and no refunds will be given if the ESI deem it safe to continue the activities.
Insurance:Insurance is not included in our products. It is strongly advised clients take out the “Carré Neige” insurance when buying your ski passes and to be well informed as to what it covers. The insurance must cover cancellations, the emergency services and transport to the nearest medical centre or hospital in the event of injury.
Reservation, Booking and Payment:Lessons can be booked via our offices or online booking system before your stay. Bookings are dependent on availability and acceptance by our team. Payment in full must be made upon booking for the reservation to be valid. If a reservation is made with our central office within 15 days before your stay, a payment by credit/debit card will be taken for the booking. Those booking at one of our offices we will be given the lesson ticket directly, those booking in advance will be sent an invoice which can be presented at the lesson meeting point.
Online bookings www.arc-aventures.com: Our team will confirm your booking by sending an invoice that can be presented directly at the lesson meeting point.
DISCOUNTS:Only one discount can be used at a time and they can not be combined or used retroactively (e.g. After a sale has been processed). Discounts are only valid under the following circumstances:
- With a valid voucher from one of our commercial partners.
- For purchases made at our sales office, not including online sales.
Discounts are applicable from 15/12/2018 for the 2018-2019 winter season and can be altered at any time by ESI-Arc Aventures.
Lesson cancellations:• Cancellations of lessons will not be refunded or rescheduled apart from exceptional cases that can be satisfactorily justified within 48 hours.
• No refunds or substitutions will be given due to an insufficient physical or technical level.
• No refunds will be provided in the case of ski lessons being cancelled due to factors beyond our control (ski lifts closures, bad weather etc.)
• The instructors reserve the right to modify (with or without warning) any lesson programmes depending on weather or safety conditions and clients are not entitled to compensation.
• Lessons times can change depending on the ski lift timetables.
Not included in our products:Insurance, ski equipment or ski passes.
Pictures and videos:We reserve the right to use pictures and videos taken during lessons on our social media platforms and website. Please inform us in writing if you do not wish your photos or videos to be used, otherwise the rights to the images belongs to the ski school.
Accident:In the event of an accident caused by a third party, the instructor and the Ecole de Ski Internationale-Arc Aventures are not obliged to ascertain the identity or the contact details of the third party. There is also no obligation or responsibility on the part of the instructor or the Ecole de Ski Internationale-Arc Aventures
Data protection:The Ecole de Ski Internationale-Arc Aventures collects personal information via their website and bookings team in order to give accurate advice, follow the progress of bookings and keep their database and instructor schedules up to date. Individuals have the right to modify, correct or delete their personal information (art.34 de la loi « Informatique et Libertés »)
